Van Reets are the foundation of our lofts and are responsible for winning many 1st prizes since their introduction in 2000.

There are two foundation birds that created our line of Van Reet, these being Dickie boy and the Mealy Pied.
Dickie Boy - He was bought as a latebred from Ritchie Ryder from Liverpool in late 2003. He bred his first fed winner in 2004 at 6 months old. Children and g children are just as prolific at breeding. he has bred 3 x 1st 1st fed and over 20 x 1st clubs. He is G Sire to 5 x 1st fed the latest in June 2011.
The Mealy pied - She was bought as a yearling in 2000 from Mr and Mrs Stanway from Manchester. She bred winners from the word go with a daughter winning 1st fed 2000b, 1st fed 2550b and 8th fed 2600b in consecutive weeks in 2002.She has bred 4 x 1st fed and over 30 x 1st clubs.

The two foundation birds above are through all the van reet birds we own and race now. Our BICC winner in 2011 was a g son of the Mealy Pied.
